Our wedding was in July and we had just bought a house and we both worked very hectic hours. Shima Palma helped us with our art gallery wedding this spring-she's the best! It was such a stress relief to have someone at the venue making sure all things got done as WE wanted. Shima was our "Day of Coordinator". She was in charge of: making sure the rentals &cutlery, crockery and tables) arrived at the reception venue and were set up correctly, meeting the caterer/server and making sure the buffet was set up properly (she also very kindly offered to pick supplies up at Costco for us), that favours were set out and displayed, that the bar was properly set up and stocked, ensuring everyone was at the wedding venue at the right time, also that my then-fiance and I didn’t accidentally run into each other (we both lived in the same building). She also coordinated the restocking of the buffet, and made sure the DJ was in place and ready to go. As the bartenders and the DJ were friends, the situation called for quite a bit of diplomacy. She was at both the wedding and the reception venues well ahead of time, and helped to coordinate transport for the various guests to and from each venue (a bit of a nightmare as most of our guests were from out of town and we had multiple cars whizzing back and forth).

We loved her! She did a very good job of calming me down and asking questions we hadn’t thought to ask, preparing us really well for our day. She is upbeat and very energetic, and definitely knows what she’s doing. She took such good care of us that we referred friends of ours. She was definitely worth the investment, and we were delighted with her service.
